Outlaw Dyno

Just finished a site for Outlaw Dyno, a dyno tuning facility for luxury and racing vehicles based in Victorville, California. (A service I didn’t even know existed as the owner of a beat-up Tiguan.) We made car service sexy with dynamic video, provocative photography, and cohesive branding. An online scheduling platform allows customers to easily book from anywhere.

Deborah L. Borman J.D., LCSW

Deborah L. Borman J.D., LCSW is a Chicago-based therapist, attorney, author and law professor. We created this site to accompany the launch of her professional practice as a counselor. Debbie requested a bold and bright color palette—and requested I integrate the mandala symbol as a motif. Warm and accessible, clients get to know Debbie through this site before they make the initial connection. https://www.dlblcsw.com/

Astraius

Very excited to announce the redesign of the site that I did for Astraius, a commercially operated horizontal launch company for satellites based in the UK. We integrated video, animation, and other dynamic effects to help this company tell their story in an engaging way. We also designed the site’s framework so it will continue to grow along with them. It’s exciting to see this company evolve—when we started working with them, they were in the preliminary stages of research and development. Now they are planning flight for next year. Sosogu Ramen & Japanese BBQ

This site was a blast to design. Tobi Miller from Demand Brands Group came to us seeking an unconventional site for Sosogu, a ramen and Japanese BBQ restaurant in Redlands, CA. He wanted animations, horizontal parallax scrolling, and music. Of the final result, he said: “The site you created was sooo damn on-brand and exactly what I was imagining! You made that happen with very little input from me. The site is super fun, creative, and pleasing to the eye – and that’s 100% on point with our brand.” This one is definitely worth clicking through to see the bells and whistles.

Awkward Company Picnic

Another exciting site launch this month! Jerry Collins is a comedy writer with more than 20 years experience (working for SNL, Modern Family, Mr. Show and others). He recently launched Awkward Company Picnic, a new company that helps businesses weave comedy, connection and camaraderie into the workplace. We built the site in Squarespace and integrated cheeky social media posts, fun videos alongside practical information and endorsements from stars like Will Ferrell and Eric Stonestreet. Finding Elevation

Lisa Thompson is a mountaineer who summitted the highest mountain on all seven continents and who is the second American woman to summit K2, largely considered the deadliest mountain in the world. Her book, Finding Elevation chronicles Thompson’s path from novice climber to world-class mountaineer. More than a climbing memoir, this book explores Lisa’s deeply personal examination of motivation and the human spirit, especially as a breast cancer survivor. Another book site created from Book Landing Pages (link to: https://booklandingpages.com/ ), I loved working with Lisa to promote this beautiful book.

Shannon Watts

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of the site I designed for one of my personal heroes, Shannon Watts. The Sandy Hook tragedy inspired Shannon to start a grassroots movement via Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Ten years later, and with more than 10 million supporters, this group has made an incredible impact on American gun legislation and public education on gun safety. With endorsements from Nancy Pelosi, Katie Couric, Mike Bloomberg and many others, the site showcases her accomplishments, collects her press mentions, and inspires action.
